Basketball Operations Committee

Basketball Operations / Board Liaisons

The Basketball Operations Committee oversees key basketball-related processes, including player evaluations, coach selection, and team rostering.

From section 13.5.1 of the Travel Handbook:

Board Liaison Role: Each grade level will have a designated Board Liaison from the Basketball Operations Committee. The Board Liaison will:

• Meet with team parents at the beginning of the season.

• Periodically attend team games or practices during the season.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and coaches regarding questions or concerns.

To ensure impartiality, the assigned liaison cannot be a parent of a player in the grade they oversee.
